DESCRIPTION:Scotland’s space sector is growing and could be worth £4 billion by 2030. With growth comes opportunity and Equate Scotland have partnered with Skyrora\, an Edinburgh based space technology company to deliver Equate’s October MeetUp. \nJoin us if you’re a woman in STEM (Science\, Tech\, Engineering and Maths) and are interested in hearing about the opportunities in Scotland’s expanding space sector. \nAn informal networking environment for women in STEM\, this MeetUp will take place from 6pm – 8.30pm at Skyrora offices 108 Princes Street Edinburgh\, EH2 3AA. \nDrinks and nibbles provided. \nAbout Equate MeetUps \nEquate Scotland MeetUps will bring together women studying\, working and looking for opportunities in Science\, Technology\, Engineering and the Built Environment. \nHosted by partners of the Equate Careerhub (our online job board for women in STEM) each MeetUp will explore working in different STEM areas and will be an opportunity for women at any stage of their career to learn about new opportunities\, share their career journeys and meet like-minded women. \nLet us know what you would like covered in the next MeetUp. \nAbout Equate Scotland  \nAt Equate Scotland we make a positive difference to women working and studying STEM (Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Maths) by supporting the recruitment\, retention and progression of women in these industries.
