Our Training Ethos

All of our workshops are interactive in style. We want every course we run to have an impact in the organisation, not just on the training day itself. Our training goes beyond basic awareness raising which often has little impact, we believe training is an opportunity to discuss complex issues, ask challenging questions and action plan.

Training should be seen as only one part of a multi-intervention approach towards culture change which includes; inclusive workplace policies, an organisational strategy, robust reporting mechanisms, inclusive and transparent processes in recruitment and promotion and evidence-based outreach efforts.

Feedback is as important to us as it is to you, as such, we will finish development sessions with feedback from participants and recommendations of next steps for your organisation to embed real change in practice, policy and culture.

All of our work related to unconscious bias is built upon evidence of what works, we have embedded many of the recommendations from the Equality and Human Rights Commission review to ensure our work makes the difference we hope.
