Women’s experiences of discrimination in STEM fields -Focus group and lunch session

September 11 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

- Free

Equate Scotland is conducting research to learn about the experiences of multiple discriminations that women face when working or studying in STEM areas (science, technology, engineering, maths and the built environment fields).

We are looking for women in Scotland from underrepresented groups and ethnic minority backgrounds who would like to participate in this focus group. We are very keen to hear from BME women, women from LGBTI groups, disabled women, and women with caring responsibilities who work or study in STEM.

This focus group will be facilitated by Equate Scotland for one hour and a half and lunch will be provided afterwards. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences in a safe and supportive environment and to network with other women in STEM based in Scotland.
