Navigating the Wriggly Garden Path with Nikita Lazaroo
October 21 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Many of us start our careers with a clear plan. We set goals, map out where we want to be in five years, and work towards the next step. But what happens when life takes an unexpected turn, our priorities change, or the path we thought we wanted no longer feels right?
Join us for this Friends of Equate lunchtime session with Nikita Lazaroo, who will explore career breaks, pivots, and the reality that careers are rarely a straight line. Together, we’ll discuss how to navigate uncertainty, embrace change, and build a career that reflects who we are and what we want at different stages of life.
Through her own experiences across financial services, energy, technology, and entrepreneurship, Nikita will share insights into adapting to change, redefining success, and finding confidence when the plan no longer fits.
Whether you’re considering a career change, returning from a career break, questioning your next move, or simply looking for reassurance that it’s okay not to have everything figured out, this session will offer inspiration, practical advice, and space for reflection.
