The ENGENDERING STEM project is a pan-European collaborative development project with partners from Scotland, Netherlands and the Basque Country.
The project aims to share learning and good practice amongst European partners to support SMEs operating within the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) sectors to be bolder on gender equality.
The aim of the International Conference 2019 is to share the initiatives developed by the project team and to share best practice from employers who are experiencing the benefits of investing in diversity. The conference includes reviewing a series of best practice guides, case studies, free online resources and a self-assessment toolkit that supports employers and educators to identify common barriers and associated interventional strategies that have proven to be most effective for improving gender equality. Participants will hear from SMEs across Europe and they will have the opportunity to network and to be part of discussions through sessions led by our panel of experts.
