Women In Data Science

Partnering with The Data Lab, Women in Data Science is an online project for women to learn Data and AI skills.

WE:BUILD – Retrofitting

Partnering with BE-ST, Retrofitting is a hybrid learning project for women to gain retrofitting and sustainable construction knowledge with practical hands-on experience.

Green Skills – Passivhaus

Partnering with BE-ST, Passivhaus is a hybrid learning project for women to gain Passivhaus design knowledge and practical hands-on skills.

WE:BUILD – ConStructEd

In-person project partnering with ExpLearn ConStructEd for a hands-on construction project building experience

Women’s Construction Experiential Learning Programme 2026

The Women’s Construction Experiential Learning Programme is a free, 4-day, hands-on training experience designed to support women and girls across Scotland into careers within the construction sector.

Now entering its 8th year, the programme combines practical skills, employer engagement, and tailored support to build confidence, capability, and routes into employment or further training.

How do reserved participant places work?

Equate Scotland’s experiential learning events are designed to support women into STEM and the built environment careers, particularly those who are underrepresented in the sector. As part of your sponsorship, we will contact you ahead of the registration closing date to coordinate the reserved participant place(s) for eligible women within your organisation or wider network.

Reserved places must be used within the specific sponsored event and cannot be transferred to future programmes or exchanged for a partial refund if unused.

How does the free job posting benefit work?

Following the event, the Equate Scotland team will contact you to arrange your complimentary job postings. To ensure alignment with our equality and inclusion principles, we provide a supportive review of job advert language, along with a short feedback report.

Once approved, inclusive job adverts will be shared across Equate Scotland’s website and professional networks. Any unused job posting allocations cannot be carried forward or redeemed for cash.

How does the featured employer case study work?

After the event, we will work with you to develop a featured employer case study that highlights your organisation’s commitment to equality, skills development, and partnership with Equate Scotland.

This can take the form of:

A blog or video produced by Equate Scotland featuring your organisation, or

A co-created blog written by your team that showcases your work and partnership with Equate Scotland.

Final format and timing will be agreed collaboratively.

Can we create a customised sponsorship package?

Yes. We are happy to discuss bespoke sponsorship opportunities to better align with your organisational goals, values, and capacity. Please contact our Business Engagement Manager at to explore options.

How does payment work?

An invoice will be issued for the full sponsorship amount upon confirmation.

For Gold Sponsors, payment by instalments may be considered by prior agreement.
