At the heart of Equate’s work is directly supporting women to progress their careers. We do this in the wider context of cultural and structural barriers to women’s progression. We do not believe in training through a deficit model, instead it is focused on the vast competencies of women and the barriers and stereotypes they face. We have been providing career development for women in STEM fields for over 12 years and our training receives consistently good feedback. Our training workshops can and should be used by employers to develop inclusive cultures and be seen as an opportunity to learn about how to continuously improve the workplace for their employees.
We can work with you to develop bespoke training for women in your organisation pulling on the wide experience of our training team including MBTI, Emotional Intelligence, Appreciative Inquiry and Leadership to name a few.
We have a range of one-day workshops for women which includes leadership, assertiveness and negotiation.
We also have a three-day development programme (The Advance Career Programme) which is a tailored, organisational version of our Career Enhancement Programme. This has been developed after demand from the sector.
