In the 1840s, Ada Lovelace wrote the first ever computer programme. Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration of her achievements and the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). It is just 2 weeks away and we have some exciting plans.

We’ve teamed up with Ada Scot to host an event with inspirational women in technology sharing what they wish they had known at the start of their careers. Find out more about the event here.

We will also be sharing our new video called #NextAdaLovelaceDay to celebrate the achievements of women in STEM and look at some of the barriers they still face. Keep an eye on social media to spot the video and share with your networks to spread the word.
