There is a great appetite to learn from the stories and experiences of women working and studying in STEM and therefore we are frequently asked by students and partners for #womeninSTEM speakers and experts to talk at events, panels or participate in research. We have created a space on our website where women in STEM can volunteer to join our list of speakers/experts. Students, women in STEM groups, researchers and partners can contact that list of expert women in STEM to engage them in the work they are doing.

If you are looking for someone to be on a panel, give a keynote, participate in research, write an opinion piece or be on radio… here’s a place to start.

However, it is important to emphasise that women should not feel compelled to give their expertise for free. If you require input from women in STEM, pay them adequately for their time through speaker or contributor fees. At the very least ensure expenses are paid to prevent them being out of pocket when they are supporting your work.

If you are a woman in STEM, tell us your expertise, what you are happy to volunteer for and add yourself to the list! The list is evolving and will continue to grow.
